1/1/15 my first cast-on of 2015. Joining in with bzmama’s downton kal. these lovely and easy mittens are very ladylike.

decided to go up a needle size than pattern calls for as it was turning out tiny.

1/31: sigh, I put these aside a couple of weeks ago. I finished one mitt sans thumb. I plan to add the thumb and assess size, but I’m feeling they are way too small, even after going up a needle size.
