1/1/13 showing this project’s versatility as it has become my “go-to” jacket of the season…

11/3/13 Addendum: After wearing a few times, the extended fabric under the front zipper is beginning to curl (to the point of being annoying), as knit fabric can do when not secured. So, I have sewn one snap at the top of the extension to hold it in place. ahhhh…. problem solved.

9/13 not sure this was the sky I was after but I’ve waited long enough! The ducks just followed us along! Thought they were a nice touch! Tonight, blog writing!

It’s gorgeous and waiting for a photo shoot! yeah!!!

Can’t wait for the summer “Storm” to hit!!

Hard to say what I like best, the packaging (from Australia), the gorgeous yarn, the zippers, the pattern… cannot wait ‘til summer to begin! And, I do love a challenge!

Update! Yarn and zippers purchased! Yarn is called Storm. Hmmm… Zippers with black tape now purchased (using success of other project as a guide). Need to take a photo.

I will knit this some time this summer, she says to self!! (This project was posted for last summer and it didn’t happen.) I am predicting a challenge. Starting with the purchase of the zippers…. unsure. Gotta work up the knitted fabric, first. And, even the color, unsure. Oh great, confident start, she notes. This is bringing back memories of another zippered project that began similarly and ended up being an all time favorite, here. See Urban Zip
