yep, much improvement. As much as I loved the red, it was overpowering. But more the problem was when I completed the ENTIRE back piece, blocked it, AND stood back to give the final a-ok, I screeched, “oohhh NOOO, JACK’S BACK!” Now, as much as I love my Jack, I did NOT want another and why I didn’t see that from the beginning is a quandary to me. So, it has been back to the drawing board. After ripping the piece out, collaborating with hubby on new color scheme, we came up with replacing the bold red with a softer blue/green. And now, I’m happy to report we’re half way up the back, aaahhh. I can now relax as the project has an identity all its own, is perfect to the designated gauge and by NOW, I have short row wrap down to a science….
