The project gets its name by the shape of the piece one knits, followed by picking up stitches on one end of the “wine goblet” to continue shaping the next piece and so forth. Following a chart, one eventually has all the edges sewn together to form the body of the sweater.
Love it! Directions in pamphlet are clear and concise. Gauge worked up accordingly and the yarn is heavenly, a blend of wool and silk. What could be better? I receive many compliments.
