11/12/12: my 1st Close up in progress picture is more green than the true color (click on the skeined stash picture for a better representation of the color). The second progress picture is better.

Cast on 18 stitches - I’m about 12” on the brim and it’s about 4.5” wide. The fabric may be a little more dense than the pattern but I want my ears to be warm!
