Originally started making this but didn’t like how bulbous the tip of the head looked for me so I reworked the body.
I used the same techniques to make the joining points of the tentacles, but over 15 stitches for 5 tentacles instead of the 12 stitches for 4 tentacles.

Crocheted into each chain instead of over them to allow space to close up the center. With two rows of decreases.

Created the fins with the help of a past AMI CAL I had participated in. The fins use a similar increase method as described in The Blue Bobbin’s Bobo the “Shark” Fish pattern.

Separated yarn to make 4 ply into 3 ply yarn.
With 2.75 mm (C) hook crocheted a button eye using Crochetverse’s Button Eye Pattern.

use light pink and sew details and stitches onto eye.

Sew onto body between rows 12-21 below the ears and centered on the middle tentacle.
