Fun Shawl, a very quick knit.
I made a few adjustments to the pattern to get it turn out like the sample photo.

First, when I knit the edging I slipped the first stitch purl wise. And on the way back I knit it through the back loop to make a nice selvedge edge. Much easier for me to pick up later.

Second, I replaced the increase yarn overs on the even rows of the edging with a kfb. I just have a hard time starting with a yarn over.

Third, the Celtic knot symbol (slip, knit, psso) in the green shaded area of the chart only decreases 1 stitch. To make the pattern work you need a double decrease. I used slip 1, knit 2 tog, pass slip stitch over.
