My sister had a pair of pugs, which she adored. She only had them for a short time before she had to give them up. I thought it would be a nice memento for her to have amigurumi “remembrances” of her beloved pugs to have around the house. Besides, it made a (relatively) quick and fun Christmas present!

I’ll be honest, you won’t be doing a whole lot of crocheting here. There’s a small amount of crpcheting, and a LOT of sewing together. The devil really is in the details with this pattern, balancing and placing the legs, ears, eyes, and nose exactly so they look right, and so that the doll balances correctly. However, with a little (or a lot!) of work, this tiny creation can be really cute. My final size, using worsted weight yarn and an H hook, was about 4.5” long and 4” tall overall.
