LOVED this pattern!! I worked these up while watching Dr. Who so I can’t really give an accurate length of time since I kept looking away and stopping. I did work these up in one evening, starting later than 9pm. I was making these to match a hat for my nephew, he’s almost 3. I still think I could have sized down my hook again to get a smaller pair, but they came out great.

As is, I used an F to acheive a toddler size. The pattern read well (If working the pre-school size be mindful that the pattern skips rounds 11-15…this IS stated, I just overlooked it and had to rip out a few rounds), the only part I had an issue with was the first round after the cuff. Getting the stitches to space fairly even was a pain, but this is NOT the fault of the pattern!

To get the colors how I have them:

• Ribbed wrist in Hobby Lobby’s ILTY Ivory
• Body of mitten/thumb in Vanna’s Choice Taupe Mist. I worked the mitten through to the last round to get it measured 2” for the thumb height, then I switched to ivory for 2 rounds and red for the final 2 rounds. <ll be playing around with it to determine hook size-mitten size. My kids are already planning my next pair for me :) Thanks for the pattern!
