Notes

Delightful, and quite easy pattern!

This one is 8 repeats of the cable pattern (not the 12 in the pattern), and came out exactly as I wished! It used one skein, with a small ball left over. It folds nicely above the bustline, and can be worn with collar standing up or rolled, and the bottom makes a nice, flat V that fills in gap at the top of your jacket.

This is my second (of five, now). The first (teal, in photo) used only 5 repeats of the cable column, and it makes a great moebius neckwarmer.

Yarn was OK. It’s listed as “Aran”, but this skein certainly wasn’t. Had just enough -- tiny ball left over. Used Addi 47” US #8 needles. They seemed a little small, so that may factor in to yarn usage.

It has a nice sheen, and in person, it makes the stitch design crisp and pretty. It feels wonderfully soft. May have to make another one of these for myself.
