Using Addi US #8 circulars, 47”, although this length isn’t really necessary. I think 36” would be preferable to 29”, though.

Using Eco-Ways peacock, put it down next to a scrap of Caribbean, and loved it, so doing the hood in the contrast color. Wish I’d used it for the first 4 rows, too (the bottom edge), which I did in moss stitch on my quest to find something that would lie flat.

Colors MUCH better than will show up in the photo.

Another modification: I tried doing a brocade texture for the back of the hood -- not really happy with that, with this yarn, but still has potential for other versions to come. Maybe I’ll sew a bead of some kind above each dot.

Love this pattern, so I’ll probably do several. Not in love with the yarn, though. The Eco-Ways is not very fluffy or soft, not a nice feel. If I hadn’t made one previously with the JoAnn Sensations, I might not notice, but that yarn was so soft, I can’t help but feel the difference with this.

The Lion Brand was inexcusable! The quality was all over the map, and I’d sort of cheated to get this lovely color section in position for the wonderful bind-off edge, but the quality at that point was so bad, it makes the whole project look amateurish. Fuzzy, badly un-spun, splitting, and unreliable in texture -- makes this look like an old rag before it’s even finished. Too bad -- lovely colors (though they need quality control there, too), crappy yarn.
