Notes

General
Background: Clementine, Burnt Orange, Saffron, Brandy, Carmine; motives: Allium, Peony, Cumfrey, Plum, Sloe; embroidery: Saffron; i-cord: Carmine.

Fabric for lining & wadding from my stash.

TCKAL cast-on post: #1486

Mods

  • holding the yarn double,
  • making the background a fade/gradient by swapping out one thread at the time,
  • instead of hearts I’m using sheep from another pattern (see above),
  • knitted little flowers instead of some of the dotted stripes,
  • knitted the sheep & the flowers with three colours,
  • embroidered windows & doors on the houses using duplicate stitch,
  • mashine sewed fabric & wadding together and then hand sewed the lining to the cosy.
