Followed this example to make the leg longer and also added 1 stitch before and 1 after the chart to make it fit my larger stitch number = more stitches between each tree.

Mods

• cast on 72st,
• cuff 9 r p1 k1tbl + 1 r k1 k1tbl,
• leg 2 r with BC + chart - working all solid stripes twice = total chart length 66 r,
• heelflap 36 r plain stockinet decreasing 2 st on the first and 2 on the second r, round heel,
• gussets picked up 20 st + moved 2 st from instep on each side, decreased every third r until 32 st left on sole,
• foot 12-row stripe sequence six times + r 1-10,
• toe decreased every third r until 36 st left then every r until 8 left.
