1/25 - ok, so I worked ALL DAY on this! I thought I wanted slightly longer sleeves so I added 6 rows of stockinette stitch, but they were way too big. So I knit them again as written (except I did not do the purl rows on the RS to create ridges … just st st all the way). These are much bette. The collar was also pretty simple to do, though the instructions on how to fit it in were a little weird. I figured it out though. I like this FO a lot!

I can’t remember if I used 7 or 8 skeins, since this was from a frogged sweater, so I wrote 8 to be on the safe side.

1/23 - Worked top to 4” from waistband. Need to be mindful of the Textured Ribbing and what row you’re on. Per pattern instructions, it was incorrect for me to do the K1, purl to end, K1 when instructed, and then again when splitting for front and back, it said Row 1 Knit; but I needed to do the Tex. Rib pattern there. So, I’m just following textured rib and incorporating any edge instructions, like BO’s and K2tog’s where indicated.

1/21 - finished the bottom … only did 6 repeats of the horizontal ribs. Started the top today.

1/18 - Cast on, working on the waistband. Considering shaving off ~ 2” from upper and lower body since this length in bulky yarn is likely not going to be flattering on me.

Repurposing my yarn from Red Hot Jacket, which was a bust. :( But considering that was all garter stitch, the yarn was not at all kinky.
