Back:

Like other ravelers- wanted to have row of MC before starting the chart;

• Knit one row on RS after last CC stripe Broke the yarn at the end of the row - slid stitches back to the end of the needle to start another RS row (v. turning and doing a WS row)

UGH - this chart is super unclear;

Right Side:
Always beginning with a knit stitch and either end;
Start chart & end chart with a purl stitch

Moss and Cable Right:

• do moss stitch (starting with a purl for row 23) for 8 (12, 16, 18, 12) (14, 10, 12, 14); then do last 6 stitches in the 10 pattern repeat

• repeat above two steps for 2(2, 2, 2, 3) (3, 4, 4, 4)

• Do Right Twists pattern

• Do Centre Cable pattern

• Do Left Twists

Moss & Cable Left:

• do 6 stitch pattern repeat directly after Left Twists
• Do moss stitch for 8 (12, 16, 18, 12) (14, 10, 12, 14);
• Repeat above two steps for 2(2, 2, 2, 3) (3, 4, 4, 4)
• end with a purl stitch

A true labour of love - made it longer overall
sleeves are a bit too long - but definitely giving ariana sleeve meme vibes

added app. two patterns repeats extra on back panel for added length - measured front panels appropriately to line up

added afterthought pockets

button holes in the pattern are terrible - did patty lyon’s perfect button holes

yarn is amazing - super soft and squishy- this colour is PERFECT for this project - i didn’t want undyed cream or white because it would be too flat - but didn’t want to stray too far from the original in the music video. white peppercorn really pops the cables and the stitch patterns - it’s got so much depth but it’s subtle
