Making these for a dear friend I made this year. Sylvia is 93 and sharp as a button but unfortunately bedbound and my visits to her every Sunday have become a special part of my week - and hers. I don’t usually knit with red - no idea why! - but red is definitely Sylvia’s favourite colour and these are about as red as red gets!
