Finished product is quite pleasing.

Quite disappointed with obvious manufacturing defect in dying process of this commercial yarn. Blaring small blotches of incongruous color.
Rather than 3 needle bind off to join the cuff, I left enough yarn ar beginning (crochet chain) to be able to Kitchener the garter stitches together. I ended last increases on row B1 (26 sts).
I used 5” DP wooden needles to pick up and knit squares, it’s just easier.

Finished one sock as per pattern fits my foot (size 10) with plenty of ease, WAAAY too big for intended recipient. Ripping back one whole segment. Sheesh. At least I can alter the final k2tog ssk of toe which is tacky and bumpy.
It worked slick, added 6 additional rows to toe hexagon and altered some of the k2tog, ssks.. a bit pouchy, but I think it will be ok.
