7-30-09 - my self-portraits are a bit lacking but I tried ~ thought I’d wear it like the girl in the pattern photo with a cute little tank underneath (hah! what was I thinking?)…thus the long sleeve tshirt and a quick photo shoot in the 100 degree heat!

7-27-09 I’m pleased with the fit ~ can’t wait for fall to wear it ~ the 90 degree heat doesn’t make for good sweater weather …. even a vest! I did go down one needle size for the collar (used a 10 vs 10 1/2 ~ it’s a huge collar so I wanted it as tight as possible ~ like how it turned out)

definite errata in pattern for size small ~ only calls for one skein of Kochoran but used almost 2 full skeins ~ the collar alone took one entire hank ~ glad I read others notes before getting started so was able to have 2 hanks of same color & dye lot before casting on
