Knitted over 5 days in 2006 (note: the days were not necessarily consecutive).

I don’t remember how much yarn I used, but this was back when I just looked at a pattern and said “aha, it says 4 balls, I shall go buy 4 balls of yarn in the correct weight then”. I’m guessing I bought 4 balls of yarn regardless of yardage… and now I appear to have a partial skein left over. So I estimate that I used 3 skeins of Woolbale in making this hat.

I also sewed “fingers” and a “palm” out of red cotton-poly fabric, so that my sister could stuff selected fingers to communicate her mood to the world. See my Livejournal post for details and pics.
