11/23/12 Finished! Malabrigo Worsted is luscious, while K1P1 rib is tortuous. It will be a long time before I knit a whole item in this pattern, though it does create a lot of elasticity which is great for a hat that needs to be big enough. Hope to get a picture with Grant wearing his hat.

11/17/12 My BIL has a large head and can’t find a winter hat to fit him. He asked for a dark green hat. Malabrigo Worsted in color Vaa is a beautiful hunter green with touches of blue. I cast on 120 stitches instead of 112. Pattern says the cap stretches to 24” and Grant’s head measures 24.25”.
