I’ve wanted to make this sweater so I’m going to use up the last of the quattro and give it a new life.

I’m knitting the body in one piece as I loath seeming. Who does that anymore? I’ll knit until the body is 6” long and then I’ll knit the back and sides seperately and kitchner the shoulders. I picked up the stitches on the arm openings and knit for 2.5” and then started decreasing. The sleeves measured up at 6.5”, which is fine.

I’d like to adapt this pattern to make it a bit bigger, cause this is a great sweater for babies!

I used the leftover yarn to make a little hat to match. I used the pattern for Halvdan’s Toque as inspiration. I used size 7 and cast on 64 stitches. K2 P2 ribbing for 2 inches, changed to stockinette and knit until the piece measured 4 inches. I divided the hat into quarters and decreased at the beginning and end of each quarter every 8 rows (8 stitches decreased) until there were 4 stitches left. I ran the yarn through the last 4 stitches and securred it and added a tassel. CUTE!
