This Tunisian diamond is accomplishing several design tasks for me. It’s a variation of both the Aero Filet Lace Wrap and a “baby steps” class swatch version of the Aero design. It tests a way to do symmetrical Tunisian filet lace increases and decreases along both edges. It also tests my new sport weight cotton-rayon yarn Lotus YAY!

I’m using this wash cloth right now to see how the yarn holds up for practical daily around-the-house stuff; and how Tunisian stitches work in sport weight cotton for these items. (Am loving it so far.)

I also have a slightly fancier warm merino scarf version of this “baby steps Aero” idea as a separate project.
