Notes

This is designed to be a beginner’s experience of diagonal Tunisian crochet. It’s a diagonally striped version of “Burly, a Manly Scarf”, a popular Tunisian crochet 101 pattern at my website.

There is never any increasing, only decreasing, so it’s an easy and intuitive kind of shaping for a beginner.

The stripes are Fibonacci sequence to add spice but any kind of striping is easy to substitute.

The scarf ends can be left slanted and seamed into a ring scarf/cowl, or finished as straight ends and left unseamed.
