can't even remember. so long ago.

I was desperate on my birthday for a new vest. So desperate that I’m trying to make do with limited stash. It has been so cold and gloomy, even here in Florida and I know I enjoy making this kind of vest because of the other “Work at Home Vest” I made.

It’s looking early medieval, oh, say 11th century, so I have to give it an 11th century name of a ladye who gathers herbs for which to dye her handspun wools, like this tabardy vest.

I have run out of the green. Pondering a Plan B.

Feb 8 (my grandmother’s birthday): went with a plan to use as much of the violet Manos as possible. I like how it turned out, even though I would have made it longer if I had the yarn. I may try adding a slip stitch edge to armholes, and see what the picot edge looks like if added to the neckline. But I’m also happy with it as is. I haven’t even blocked it yet.
