I used a crocheted shell ruffle for the edging--I don’t crochet so it took a long time. The lace in the middle is from Harmony Guides Lace & Eyelet, Diamond Rib, on page 158 because, like others, I didn’t like the tulip pattern.

Pattern required a skein of Pound of Love but looks like it took only about half (hard to tell). Really wish I had known how much the yarn splits before I had bought 2 skeins (see below). Figure this would work up nicely in something like Caron Simply Soft or a Bernat.

I’m making another in mint but using the Twin Trees 3 times (top, middle, and bottom) instead of a lace inset. I’ll also plan ahead and do a knit as I go edging. Will post it separately when done.
