Major cold front is due in the area the next couple of days and I realize that, of all the hats I’ve made, I don’t have one for me. So, remembered this pattern from the magazine (love keeping old knitting magazines) and decided that, with my new short hairdo, I would knit this one for myself (from yarn left from another hat) and have it done before Monday night. Wish me luck.

Made a second one for a friend in Houston in a different color Marble Chunky yarn. Just didn’t tell her that it is a quick and easy pattern--she’s not a knitter so she’ll never know.
