Notes

Toe: JMCO 14 each needle. Lifted inc every other row until 32 st each needle (64)
Foot: Knit 55 rows, and then do mini gusset on the sole
Gusset: on sole needle, increase every other round 4 times.
R1: k15, RLI, k2, LLI, k15
R3: k15, RLI, k4, LLI, k15
R5: k15, RLI, k6, LLI, k15
R7: k15, RLI, k8, LLI, k15
Heel: Shadow wrap Boomerang heel on center 32 stitches. Left a 10 stitch center, (next time don’t go so narrow.)
After heel is completed, resume knitting in the round. Knit row 70 and then decrease gusset every other row above center of heel.
R1: k15, ssk, k6, k2t, k15
R3: k15, ssk, k4, k2t, k15
R5: k15, ssk, k2, k2t, k15
R7: k15, ssk, k2t, k15
R9: twist 16th and 17th stitches to close point

next time incorporate some of the gusset stitches in the heel. +2 for depth, and +2 for heel width. Start sole gusset 3 to 5 rows sooner and have plain rows heading into heel, since instep begins to get proportionately larger before the heel point.
