Toe:
Turkish CO 14 winds, and knit 14 stitches on each needle
Lifted Increases each side every other row until 30 stitches on each needle

04-16-2023

Gusset: (moved to bottom of foot. Gusset is 2 stitches taller than the more usual proportion due to instep and heel diagonal measurments)
Stitch count began at 30.

R1: k14, LIr and LIl in next stitch, k14
R2: knit all sole stitches
R3: k14 LIr, knit stitches between increases, LIl, then k14 repeat rows 2 and 3 until you have the number of desired increases.

Row 1: K 17, K to 18 before the end of the needle, m1L, GSR.
Row 2: P to 18 sts before the end of the needle, m1r(p), GSR.
Row 3: K to 2 sts before the double stitch created by the GSR on the row before last, m1l, GSR.
Row 4: P to 2 sts before the double stitch created by the GSR on the row before last, m1r(p), GSR.
Repeat Rows 3 and 4, alternating. 5 times
