Notes

Pattern is weirdly small. The pattern illustration is knitted in a very small size and bigger sizes don’t have the edge to edge lace appearance. It does appear that it is intended to be stretched tight around, but then it has a shortrow heel which definitely won’t fit my heel in a lower stitch count sock. I wouldn’t mind the smallness of the pattern if it said so up front (small feet need socks too), but it’s irksome to find that your size M sock will have an unexpected border. M is what I would normally consider an S and a normal M is an M+ in this pattern. Each size up just adds more stockinette to the border. The lace is a 16 stitch repeat.

Toe is a 28 stitch JMCO with lifted increases every other row up to the 54 stitches for a size M.

Changed the heel to a flap and gusset round heel with 12 increases in the turn making a bit of a pointed heel and a yoyo round after the turn.

Increased needle size to 2.5mm 2 pattern iterations past the heel. (should have done that sooner)

Added a stitch at the center of the 8th row on last iteration for even stitches on each needle.

Cuff is 18 rows of 1x1 ribbing then JSSBO

The Dublin Bay’s Solstice Midsommer Sock yarn is awesome, as always.
