Notes

This yarn makes a very thin sock.

I’m sort of making this one up as I go, so I guess writing down the instructions for the second sock as I do the first would be more foresight than I usually show (and a good idea).

C0 72

Rib: K2, p2 for about 2 3/8”

Switch to stockinette.
Knit 1” stockinette. Decrease one stitch each end of round.

Continue in stockinette.
Decrease one stitch each end of every third round twice more. Then every fourth round until 56 stitches remain.

Continue knitting in stockinette without decreases until you reach the desired length

Divide stitches in half for heel. Work heel flap over 28 stitches.

Do standard heel. Pick up 13 stitches each side of gusset. Decrease every second round to 56 stitches. Continue to 2.5” short of desired foot length (in this case, since foot is 10.5” long, I knit to 8”)
Do wedge heel, decreasing every second round to 20 stitches and every round to 6 stitches. Kitchener.
