March 31 - swatching. Using 4mm bamboo needle to get gauge.

April 2 - finished back and cast on front. Back used almost exactly three balls. Am somewhat concerned that the 991 yds (10 balls) that I have available won’t be enough. If the front also uses 3 and the sleeves use three and a half between them, that should leave half a ball for the collar. Fingers crossed.

April 11 - both sleeves done!

April 12 - waiting for it to finish drying (blocking) so as to seam it together and finish the collar. Today’s my birthday, so I’d love to finish it by the end of today!

April 13 - finished the last couple of seams this morning.

April 17th - washed and dried assembled garment. It’s SO much better no. Also got a bone button and replaced the original ugly one. Works beautifully!

Modifications: made body 1” longer and arms 3” shorter.

Yarn remaining: 12m of 10 balls (910 yds) available

May 2 - I LOVE this sweater! I’ve gotten many, many complements on the style and the yarn used and it fits so beautifully. It’s my go-to sweater that I grab as I go out the door these days. May have to make another one at some point!
