I’m so excited about these mittens!! I love the Olympics and wanted to make myself and my husband something unique.

This is my own pattern and design and my first attempt at designing a mitten. I’m writing it up as I go and am going to try two variants; white on red and red on white.

It’s going great thus far, but drafting a pattern is harder work than you might think!!

Want to get these done in time for the Olympics.

I think blocking will really smooth these out.
