March 11: I’m using up those little end balls of sock yarns and doubling them to create a worsted weight and use up remnants faster.
CO 300 stitches. Will update as to how long this ends up being.

I need a mindless and portable project and am hoping this will suit. I also need to use up all those ball ends of sock yarn!

March 16: using 5mm needle and doubled finger-weight yarn remnants, 300 stitches yields a scarf 53” long, before blocking. I made it 6” wide.
