knit in round, top down, knitted on set of 5 double pointed needles -
start with 4 x 2 stitches (8 st total) -
increase after first and before last sstitch of each needle in the first four rows (will make the little button on top) - then every second row till circle has size like top of your head -
fantasy stitch goes over three stitches : slip one, knit two, pass slipped one over the two knitted. In following row you do yarnover between the twoo stitches, then one row knit and start over again.
Do fantasy stitch - rows alternated with stockinette rows. Choose if you make five or six repeats of the fantasy rows or make hat only in fantasystich. Make it your own!!!
Border: 2knit , 1purl, 2 purl together in first row (=decrease 1) followed by 2 knit, 2purl together in next one ((= decrease 1).
Continue in border 2/1 to have height that you can fold inside and fix it with some stitches.
