Notes

Made these little jacket for a hunters family. I added some length for the body, since the Baby probably is going to be big. Both parents are very tall.
I also added some width for the sleeves. My mum has a table for baby cloth and it says the sleeve should be at least 20 cm.

Tech Specs

  • Buttonhole: 4 sts wide, started after 5 sts
  • added 3 cm length before first button hole
  • 6 garter ridges between the two button holes
  • 20 threads to weave in
  • added 2 snap fastener on the inside
  • CO 62 sts per sleeve

Yarn

I used the lovely Wollmeise yarn to knit these Kimono. The color-way is Franz, the i-cord edging a Taste of Wollmeise mini skien similar to Frühling. I used about 107 g Franz and about 8 g solid green.

Measurements

  • first button hole 7 cm => 10 cm
  • second button hole 9 cm => 12,5cm
  • start decrease 10 cm => 14 cm
  • Armholes 11 cm => 15 cm
  • Bind off 20 cm => 24 cm
