tried something a bit different 2nd time with this yarn.
sort of trellis lace
r1:k
r2: s1 k1 yo k2tog k1
r3: k
r4: s1 yo k2tog

CO 40 + 3 provisional
continue in pattern until piece measures about 45”
twist piece into moebius
graft ends

……….
17 mar: ended up with something too big (wide and longwise)
but I love the yarn - rip it back and try again I say! and this time with less stockinette border.

Question is - what is a good width for a shoulder cozy?

increase enough to hang from the shoulders but still quite wide so that it wraps as cowl
