My friend wants a long cowl and I love the look of the sideways stripes, casting on a lot and working the long way. I made this up as I went, pretty simple and I love the two colors together. I had both stashed away, so it’s fun to make something for a friend and bust the stash at the same time!
I made a chain of about 125, then sc three rows of sc. I joined it into a ring and did a row of dc shells. (Sc in one st, Skip first 2 St, then DC 4 into one St, skip 2 St again, sc, repeat across.) I changed colors each row, doing the shells in the sc between the previous row of shells. The last three rows will be sc again. It’s a fun and simple project I hope she likes it!
