yarn held double, 101s, provisional cast-on.

I did the border thing after a few rounds just to get rid of the provisional stitches. future me is grateful, I’m sure. the border will determine the width of the work pretty strictly.

not a super complicated chart, but easy to skip a stitch. also need to get some sharper needles or I’ll still be doing this next year.
