This was the project from hell. To start with, the pattern had several errors (none of which are mentioned on DB’s site). Next, the sizing was gargantuan and I had to rip it all back and knit the smallest size. (And me? Not Small.) There’s no schematic, and DB often tells you to simply repeat a pattern a number of times, assuming that you get the exact same vertical gauge she does. Also, the photo doesn’t even show the collar, so interpreting her directions was impossible



HOWEVER - I love the end result. I altered the pattern to be knit entirely on circular needles with steeks for the front, sleeves, and neck openings. That way the Noro striping would line up perfectly across the body. I also added on my own hood instead of her mystery collar, which looks great. There are lots of details in my many blog posts.
