I made a 4 colour gradient using 8/2 tencel in shades : royal, blue Ming, greyed teal and mineral green. The warp looked amazing! Now to find weft colours!

One scarf I used coral to play off the blue’s and green’s. The second scarf I used lemongrass (my new favourite).

The shift of colours and iridescence makes them beautiful . The pictures don’t do them justice.

I find gradients give me more colour options to get more out of solid colour cones. If you use Fiberworks and a Mac, then you can play with it too.

PS The draft shows ‘weird’ colours… that so I can see the colour changes better when winding. It helps old eyes!
