08-15-2023 to accommodate for my broad shoulders and narrow body
reduced stitches for the body/sleeves to move from a size 3 to a size 2. Cast on 6 fewer stitches at the under arm which took off an inch from each sleeve and 2 inches from the body.
08-18-2023 after the join, added the neckline…
It’s a tad big at the shoulders but should be totally wearable. I ALWAYS do the neckline after the join because you never know how the sweater will fit till the neckline is done. And ripping from this point is a hell of a lot better than getting to the end and discovering issues. This neckline was huge before adding the ribbing. I still could have brought it in some more using smaller sized needles, but it’s good enough.
08-18-2023 Oh, and
not a fan of the speckles. reminds me of the measles
that said, I love the how this yarn knits up. so soft, light and drapey.
08-23-2023 half way
and it’s looking pretty good. I did add the neckline and sleeves because then I will better know how long the body should be. I also reinforced the shoulder seams with a crocheted chain stitch.
Debating on whether to do the body increases or not.
Did two rounds of the body increases.
Did 2x2 rib. Bound off in pattern: K2, K2tog tbl, p1, P2tog, P1, P2tog, etc.
Love this tee.
Note to self: Next time will size to a 38 and add a few more underarm stitches to give width to that area.
