Mods

1. Knit in the round
2. before decreasing to do bib, total length was 5.5”
3. decreased to 20 st (not 10), knit 1 row, cast off 12 , changed to smaller needles (#6) and rev ss on 8 st for about 6 rows, cast off, criss cross shoulders on back and ran yarn over under stitches in waste to pull tight. Added ribbon

Purchased Bratz doll from ebay (cheap). Many thanks to thejohnstons for the idea!

Also used a Moxy doll (had to cut off the tabs on the bottom of the legs though :) )

My notes…another pattern that i found on the web is below. It needs to be modified for today’s bigger rolls.

Doll Tissue Cover

Materials
1 1oz ball of Patons Beehive Molana
Size 3 needles
8 inch slim doll

Beginning at neck edge, cast on 18 sts.

1st row: Knit, wrapping yarn twice around needle, instead of once.
2nd row: Knit, dropping extra loop off needle to form long st.
3rd row: K3. Cast off 3 sts (for 1st sleeve). K6. Cast off 3 sts (for second sleeve). K3.
4th row: Purl
5th row: knit
6th row: Purl (bodice)
7th row: Knit, increasing 1 st in each st (24 sts on needle)
8th row: Purl
9th row: As 7th row (48 sts on needle)
10th row: Purl
11th row: Increase 1 st in first st. K5 Repeat from to end of row (56 sts on needle)
12th row: KNit

Repeat 1st and 2nd rows 7 more times for skirt.

Cast off. Sew side edges together for back seam. Trim with ribbon around waist as desired
