Mods

• I am making the entire vest with the navy and adding in the patches with a strand of mohair. I was unsuccessful in letting the mohair hang till needed (it sticks to everything) so used bread bag clips as mini bobbins. And THAT made this project enjoyable!

• back & fronts…started the under arm increases 4 rows sooner and ended 4 rows earlier so as to compensate for my row gauge. I didn’t want the armhole to hang too deep. I prolly should have done the same with the neckline increases but never thought of that soon enough.

Picked up 1 k2tog around. Total of 122 stitches. 78 beginning with the pick up and front, 44 for the back

Blocking before whip stitching. Kinda wishing I would not have added the extra increase rows, it’s going to overlap too much.

I also duplicate stitched 2 partial patches on the fronts. I didn’t like the blank space, it bugged me.
