Back: 8 blocks
Front: 12 blocks (decreased to 8)

Work 4 full pattern repeats (48 rounds).
Round 49: Begin decreases, first (SSK) and last (K2tog) stitches of blocks #1 and #10. Decrease every odd round.
For final 2 stitches, decrease only one stitch per block (pattern rows 9 and 11).

Repeat decreases, this time for blocks #11 (now #9) and #20 (now #18). 6 full pattern repeats done (72 rounds), 160 stitches remaining (80 each front and back).

Armhole Shaping
Round 73 (Row 1): (K10, work in pattern 60st, K10) twice.
Round 74 (Row 2): Knit to last 2 st, P2.
Round 75 (Row 3): P2, K76, P4, K76, bind off 2st.
Round 76 (Row 4): BO 2st, K76 (hold stitches), BO 4st, K76.
Work flat (front of garment).
Row 5: Sl1, YO, work in pattern to end of row.
Row 6: Sl1, YO, SSK, work in pattern 35st, turn. Put remaining stitches on a stitch holder.
Rows 7, 9, 11, 13 (WS): Sl1, YO, work in pattern to last 2st, SSP.
Rows 8, 10 (RS): Sl1, YO, SSK, work in pattern to last 3 st, K3tog.
Row 12: Sl1, YO, work in pattern to last 3 st, K3tog.
Continue until 22st remain (23 including the YO). Then change even row K3tog into K2tog.
