Nakia Infinity Scarf

This is not a pattern. These are just notes that I took as I went along. This is my interpretation of the charts…they may or may not be correct, but this is how I Made my version of the scarfblush

Provisional Cast on 90 with Noro (3 stitches knit selvage on each side selvage is UNDERSTOOD and continued throughout project. It is NOT MENTIONED again moving forward in any stitch counts, etc.)

I READ CHART LEFT TO RIGHT FOR ODD ROWS AND RIGHT TO LEFT FOR EVEN ROWS

Rows 1-8 stocking stitch
Row 9: knit, twisting stitches 15, 26, 37, 48, 59, 70, knit to end
Row 10: purl
Row 11: repeat row 9
Row 12: repeat row 10
Rows 13, 15 and 17: knit, remove stitches 15&16 to stitch holder, twist 180 degrees and replace on left needle, knit. Repeat for stitches 26&27, 37&38, 47&48, 58&59, 69&70, knit to end
Rows 14, 16 and 18: purl
Row 19, : knit, remove stitches 14&15&16 to a stitch holder, twist 180 degrees and replace on left needle, knit. Repeat for stitches 25&26&27, 36&37&38, 47&48&49, 58&59&60, 69&70&71, knit to end

IT WOULD PROBABLY BE EASIER TO KNIT EACH WRAP ROW, THEN TAKE A STRAND OF NORO ON A TAPESTRY NEEDLE AND WEAVE AND WRAP ACCORDING TO THE CHART. OR YOU COULD KNIT AS FOLLOWS:
Row 38: knit, weaving Noro and wrapping around stitches BEFORE KNITTING EACH STITCH INDIVIDUALLY. Do this for stitches three times around 10&11&12, once around 16&17, once around 23&24, once around 31&32, three times around 38&39&40, once around 44&45, once around 50&51, once around 60&61, once around 71&72, and once around 78&79

STITCH 59 SHOULD HAVE A HORIZONTAL LINE THROUGH IT

read odd (knit) rows from left to right and even (purl) rows from right to left
some of these rows are identical, so if you watch for that, you don’t have to read the chart for every row!
