Knit 1 rnd.
Break MC.

Now start using helical knitting.

Leg
Attach CC.
Knit 1 rnd till 3 sts remain of rnd. Move 3 sts to right hand needle, continue working with MC (light grey) till 3 sts before sts in CC.
Continue working using helical knitting

Knit till total length of 18 cm

Work heel in MC.

Honey comb Heel Flap
Row 1: knit to end
Row 2: k2, sl1 purlwise wyib, k1, sl1 purlwise wyib, k1 to end of row
Row 3: knit to end
Row 4: k1, sl1 purlwise wyib, k1, sl1 purlwise wyib until 2 sts before end of row, k2

Repeat row 1-4 9 times.

Heel turn
k20, ssk, k1, turn.
p5, p2tog, p1, turm

Pick up 18 sts along each side of the heel flap + 1 extra on each side of the heel flap where it meets the leg.

Note: On first rnd, k all picked up sts through back loop (except for sts used for decreasing sts count.

Rnd 1 (dec. rnd) needle 1: k1, ssk, knit till 3 sts remain, k2tog, k1.
Needle 2: knit all sts
Rnd 2: knit all sts

Work till foot measures 15 cm from sts picked up at heel flap.

Rounded wedge toe
Rnd 1 (dec rnd): k1, ssk, knit till 3 sts remain, k2tog. Repeat on 2nd needle.
Rnd 2: k all sts
Repeat total of 7 times
Repeat rnd 1 (dec rnd) total of 6 times

Bind off remaining 20 sts with kitchener stitch.
