Notes

Sitka Spruce grow on the Pacific coast - tallest and largest of the Picea genus.

This spruce is on the prairie - White Spruce are common, so I thought a name change was in order.

Followed the suggestions of other knitters to add the extra half repeat for depth, and I’m glad I did. It is beautifully slouchy.

Also very glad I did the ribbing on the 3.75 mm needles, keeping the brim neat and snug.
