As I was making this bag, I decided I wanted it slightly different from her sister’s so I decided to make it a ‘hobo’ style bag. Not sure if I want a drawstring around it or just velcro hooks (this granddaughter is 12). I put a row of ‘crab’ stitches (or reverse sc) around the top just to give it a bit of a finished look. And then just did rows of sc for a strap. I will be putting her initials on this bag unless I decide to send the trim down to her and let her be creative and do it herself. Made this up in a little over a day (only working at night since I work at a ‘job’ during the day lol). Makes up quickly. I couldn’t find a navy color to match her hat, so the next best thing was a bright blue - she’s a bluey person lol.
