T 4/27/2010> Frogged multiple times during start up. First attempt with Size 1 needles… too tight. Second attempt with Estonian Cast-On, but forgot to double needles so the top was too tight. Lots of too tight issues! Finally getting going…

T 5/17/2010> Cast off second sock today while riding “The Bus” on Oahu on our way to Aiea from Waikiki. I did 8 full pattern repeats before starting the heel flap so they’d be closer to knee highs. Turned out to be a nice length, but they fit too tightly thru the calf. No matter though because I still love them. It took forever for me to hit my stride with the pattern, but I did eventually get it down to memory and it flowed smooth to the end.
