Test knit for Linda.
First off, the yarn: the colour is stupendous. It lights up the room and is an instant remedy for grey days. (pic 5, prob the most true-to-colour, was taken inside during rain and it was still that bright.) It was lovely to knit with and got even slinkier after blocking, because of the silk content.

This pattern has such a flattering neckline. I added an extra inch to the body, before beginning the eyelet section. I had wondered if the eyelets would be too revealing but the wool blooms a bit during blocking so it is fine.

This jumper can be quietly elegant in dark colours or a show-stopper in brights - it was such an easy knit I will make another.

Notes on the penultimate pic: i have been watching a lot of RuPaul, and this jumper makes me feel fabulous.
